Construction Sealants Ltd are pleased to announce the new contract with Kier on Wendover Woods in Buckinghamshire. Works are to both external and internal to the new café, including kitchen and toilets.
Plans for a new woodland hub with an adventure trail, café, and parking for 600 visitors at Wendover Woods have been made possible thanks to a £450,000 government grant. The existing “Cafe in the Woods” (open in 2007) is being replaced by a much larger two-story cafe with a magnificent view over a wooded Chiltern Valley.
The existing toilet block is becoming an information point. The children’s play area is being replaced by a car park for about 500 cars, and the new play area will be between the new cafe and “Go Ape.” A new road is being constructed to help separate cars from pedestrians.
