Construction Sealants Ltd are pleased to announce the first contract with We Make It Happen Design & Build Limited on the prestigious, famous restaurant – The Ivy, Manchester.
We were asked to go to site to supply and carry out coloured sealant to various and substrates over all four floors. One applicator went to site over a two-day period, works carried out included fillet to internal skirtings, worktops, ceilings, trims, floor and walls, all seating and bar plinths. All labour to the back of house – toilets, changing rooms and office.
Famed London celebrity haunt The Ivy has finally confirmed the launch date for its first Manchester restaurant. The building works to create The Ivy at Spinningfields have been ongoing for some time, with the spectacular ivy-clad four-story pavilion now nearing completion ready for its 27th November opening.
The restaurant is going to be even bigger than originally planned – with bosses saying it will be the largest restaurant to open in the UK this year with a huge 535 covers spread over four unique floors.
The restaurant will feature a ground floor brasserie, first-floor private dining room, and Asian bar & restaurant on the second floor. The top floor will feature what is being billed as “Manchester’s first roof garden” featuring fire pits and lush foliage, with a retractable roof to allow year-round dining.
