Our first visit was June 2019 and will be attending site as the project takes place.
The Heights is a new £5 million free school set to be built on the former Ridgewood School site after receiving approval from the Department for Education a year ago. The site off Burleigh Street has stood empty since 2009 and was wrecked by a fire four years ago. Due to open in September 2019 the school will cater for those pupils aged five to sixteen who have found it difficult to achieve in a mainstream school.
Staff are dedicated and committed to providing the best educational experiences including vocational studies, learning outside of the classroom, personal and social development programs, as well as the core curriculum. All pupils will be taught in small groups, which allows them to provide bespoke support packages and interventions for everyone.

“825 is designed for perimeter pointing internally and externally around PVCu /wood and powder coated aluminum. It can be used for sealing and as an adhesive onto PVC, plastic trims and components as well as the sealing of soft metals such as lead, copper, and zinc.
Everbuild Tecnic silicone 825 can be used as a weather sealing and joint sealing to pre-formed panels and curtain walling, glazing sealing and draught proofing. It can also be used for the glass to glass and glass to aluminum sealing, parapet and roof weather sealing applications as well as being suitable as an expansion joint sealant. This product comes in a 380ml cartridge. “
