Works started in May 2019, supplying and carrying all mastic – internal & external on the school and are ongoing with two operators attending site weekly.
A new school building for Royton and Crompton School in Royton, Oldham is currently being constructed.
The 1200-pupil school is receiving a new building as part of the Education and Skills Funding. The new block will replace the existing 1960s main building on Blackshaw Lane, once the construction works are complete the demolition of the old buildings will begin and will result in a sport turfed pitch on the footprint of the old school.
The new build will provide 55 new teaching spaces including purpose-built technology, food, art studios and science laboratories. There will also be several large teaching and performance spaces such as an activity studio, a drama hall, a purpose-built dining facility and a large assembly and performance hall with retractable seating.
Both parts of the re-development work will be completed by 2019.

“825 is designed for perimeter pointing internally and externally around PVCu /wood and powder coated aluminum. It can be used for sealing and as an adhesive onto PVC, plastic trims and components as well as the sealing of soft metals such as lead, copper, and zinc.
Everbuild Tecnic silicone 825 can be used as a weather sealing and joint sealing to pre-formed panels and curtain walling, glazing sealing and draught proofing. It can also be used for the glass to glass and glass to aluminum sealing, parapet and roof weather sealing applications as well as being suitable as an expansion joint sealant. This product comes in a 380ml cartridge.“
