Construction Sealants Ltd are pleased to announce the new contract with Thomas Armstrong on West Cumberland Hospital now complete. Internal works were carried out to the hospital on Levels 2 & 3 – The Mortuary and Breast Screening units.
We were asked to seal the top of walls protection, top & sides of corner protection and tops of wall mounted bump rails along with vinyl skirting using light grey and ivory colour match sealant.
The project was carried out by one operative in one day visit.
The extensive redevelopment work at West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven is continuing with work on the Breast Screening unit and Mortuary.
Following the £90m investment by North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust in ‘Phase 1’ which saw the new hospital building open in October 2015, this next phase is known as ‘Phase 1b’ represents a further investment of £8.9m. The Phase 1b scheme will prepare for the demolition of parts of the old hospital and for the subsequent ‘Phase 2’ of the hospital redevelopment.
