Construction Sealants Ltd are pleased to announce the contract with K&C Construction is now completed. CSL was asked to carry out sealant works at RAF Valley in Anglesey Airport. One operative carried out works on a day visit to two buildings including mastic to sanitary ware, kitchen splashbacks and windows. We also carried out external works to concrete joints as well as mastic to core holes.
RAF Valley is a fast jet training base where RAF pilots are taught to fly Hawk aircraft as their first exposure to fast jet aircraft, before moving on to the Tornado and Typhoon. The £20 million contract has included resurfacing the existing runway, refurbishing the link taxiways and providing a new section of airside perimeter road, new visual aids, aeronautical lighting and signage. The new works should extend the life of the runway by a further 25 years.
