Construction Sealants Ltd is pleased to announce a new contract with B & E Boys Ltd on Sedbergh School in Cumbria. Work will be carried out over a two-week period on internal blockwork joints to the new 2000 square meters of space in the new sports hall development.
This £3.25 million project sports hall development for Sedbergh School in Cumbria comprises of a curved roof multi-court sports hall and a state-of-the-art home for a host of sports including netball, volleyball, basketball, badminton facilities, 5 a-side football and indoor cricket. The development also includes changing rooms, a hospitality suite, 2 studios and an office. Works are being carried out to the existing indoor sports facilities including a sports hall, swimming pool and squash courts.
A second floor has been introduced to the facility, this space will be used for hosting hospitality events, as well as also providing a viewing gallery into the sports hall courts and adjacent rugby pitches.
Sedbergh School is an independent boarding school with a proud history. The school was first established in 1525 and the setting itself is stunning, sitting just within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This Will be the largest construction project Sedbergh has seen in more than 100 years.
